People Leaders Program

The People Leaders Program is a comprehensive 12-month program building upon TFE Hotels leadership philosophy inspired by Barry Posner and James Kouzes “The Leadership Challenge”.

The content and structure of this program is aligned to the five traits of an exemplary leader and the soft skills needed to master each. Building upon our 70:20:10 learning approach, structured learning will be supported by individual self-paced learning, manager feedback, practical assessments and self-reflection of competencies and theories learnt.

Hear what our current PLP participants loved about the program:

Rosita, Project Business Analyst
Head Office, class of 2021

The ACADEME People Leaders program has and will continue to be valuable for me, both at a personal and professional level. The program is well structured, interactive, and most of all practical in its application across varied roles within the business. Being run and managed by the Learning & Development team, the program offers consistent guidance as well as the provision of best practice resources.

Overall, the ACADEME People Leaders Program has taught me skills that I did not know I needed and has pushed me to achieve things I did not think I was capable of. I feel privileged having been a part of this program and would recommend all leaders to get on this development journey!

Jove, Senior Duty Manager
Canberra, class of 2021

The ACADEME People Leaders Program has from the get-go given me the opportunity to not only stretch myself through and through but also position myself at the forefront when interacting with Senior leaders across the business. As a part of this program, I have been able to engage in value-adding and productive discussions during the training sessions and assessments and have found myself actively applying key learnings/takeaways on the job.

So, if you are a leader with a passion to learn and develop your career within TFE and beyond, the People Leaders Program is a great starting point for your journey.

Karina, Assistant Hotel Manager
Melbourne, Class of 2021

The ACADEME People Leaders Program has given me the opportunity to deep dive into my values, whilst equipping me with some great tools for developing myself as a leader who can effectively lead teams through challenging times.

I have been exposed to a wide range of situations, each of which pushed me out of my comfort zone and taught me to be comfortable with the uncomfortable. From assessments requiring live presentations, all the way through to reaching out to my team for honest feedback and collaboration, today, I can see a demonstrable upward shift in myself as a leader.
